Survival
GIRL ON THE RUN!
ðŸŒ
The year was good and bad.
The year was high and low.
The year was predictable and unexpected.
Life is full of years, and each year a rollercoaster just as life is.

Not ringing in an early 2020 post, but since it’s my ACL surgery anniversary (which I’ve spoken a lot about already), I couldn’t not but reflect on the year.
✨
I’m the most jumpy, on-my-toes person I know, and being bed-ridden and immobile was unfathomable. But i survived.
✨
I quit an enviable, distinctive job at a huge organization to go join a startup, but in a profile I’m passionate about and see myself building a career in. There was so much self-doubt, but I survived.
✨
Between these job transitions, I lost out on a major professional opportunity that I was extremely certain about. Despite the shock and sadness, I survived.
✨
My biggest learning so far has been - Somethings need repair, some need acceptance, and some letting go. Either way, till you meet the inevitable end, life goes on. And not just survive, I’m finding ways to Thrive!
