Can’t Hurt Me: [book review+excerpts]

I've never read a book that's intimidated and inspired me in equal measures-

David Goggins has the Guinness World Record of doing 4030 pull ups in 24 hours. For him that's equal to pulling up, 846030 pounds. In other words, at least 3 times the weight of any space shuttle.
This is only a microscopic part of his achievements. But at that moment, I gasped and had goosebumps in the middle of a rush hour metro.

David Goggins is proof that anything is possible through intentional practice.

Ask yourself, "How do you want your book to read at the end of your life?"

A few excerpts from Can't Hurt Me:
*Biggest fear - Not living up to my full potential.

*If you want to be different, if you want to be something more, there are no shortcuts and you need to put in the hardwork.

*Stop listening to doubts from outside or inside.

*We have the ability to create the life we want but to achieve that, you must be willing to confront yourself and your demons.

*Peace comes only when you are at war with yourself, confront your demons and get through with it. Peace isn't a look on your face but a feeling in your heart!

* When you truly believe something belongs to you and decouple it form the calendar, you are filled with confidence and relieved from pressure.
Then, the
Task is morphed from trying to achieve the impossible to 'working towards the inevitable'.

*In the end, God himself will be in awe of what I'm doing. I want to exceed even God's expectations of what he thought i was capable of.
God would wonder, "Not even I saw what you are capable of... "

There is no finish line..!!!
